Rosita has been a counseling therapist for individuals, couples and parents for 18 years. She was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in British Columbia, Canada, where she graduated from high school and completed the first 2 years of the BA in Psychology program at Simon Fraser University. At 20 years of age, she moved to Chile where she earned her Psychology degree and Licensure, specializing in Clinical Psychology. She counseled individuals and couples privately and designed and facilitated psycho-educational workshops for parents.
In 2006 she moved back to British Columbia with her family, where she continued to counsel individuals and couples privately, while continuing her education in child development and attachment with the Neufeld Institute based in Vancouver. She worked for 9 years in a not-for-profit organization as a transition house front line support worker for women and their children fleeing abuse. In the same organization she was hired to manage the program for children who witness abuse, and counseled children, youth and their caregivers. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Child & Youth Mental Health from Universidad de León in Spain.
Rosita moved to San Miguel de Allende in 2021 and has been counseling, both in English and Spanish supporting clients in their personal growth and life transitions. She works with individuals and couples with relationship issues, depression, anxiety and trauma. She helps parents and separated co-parents with psycho-education and counseling to improve relationships and family mental health.

Ella nació en Santiago, Chile y creció en British Columbia, Canadá, donde se graduó de la escuela y completó sus primeros 2 años del Bachillerato en PsicologÃa en Simon Fraser University. A los 20 años se fue a vivir a Chile, donde obtuvo su tÃtulo y licenciatura en PsicologÃa, con especialidad en PsicologÃa ClÃnica. Ella prestó sus servicios en consulta privada a individuos y parejas, y diseñó y facilitó talleres psico-educativos para padres.
El ano 2006 volvió a British Columbia con su familia, donde continuó su consulta privada y continuó su educación en el desarrollo infantil y el apego con el Neufeld Institute en Vancouver. Trabajó durante 9 años en una organizacional sin fines de lucro, en primera linea de apoyo, en una casa de transición para mujeres y sus niños escapando violencia. Dentro de la misma organización, pasó a ser la encargada del programa para niños testigos del abuso, donde atendió los niños, jóvenes y sus cuidadores. Obtuvo su MaestrÃa en Salud Mental ClÃnica de la Infancia y la Adolescencia de la Universidad de León, España.
